Greetings from grey london!
All is going well, we finally found a place! A spacious two bedroom flat
with nice living/eating area kitchen and small patio out the back for when
the summer finall rols around. Just finishing the last bits of paperwork and
payment before we move in on wednesday. We should have internet a week after
that so I’ll be able to write more often..
Musically, things are looking very exciting, but will definitely be hard
work. Had a meeting at Candid yesterday with the leader of the band I’ll be
playing with and he’s a nice guy, and his band are good, I’ve jammed with
them before. So after we’ve moved it’s time to knuckle down and rehearse!
We’ve got dates line up from April onwards. We’ll be playing in Spain (woo hoo!)
and France in May which is exciting but we’ll do
some local dates before that so the the band can gel..
Still waiting for word from the music school I applied to for the part time
diploma course.. I was told to call up the other day to speak to someone
about my application but no reply when I called. Looks hopeful though! As
soon as we’re settled I might look for a temporary part time job just to
earn some extra cash while things aren’t too busy yet. Maybe just 2 to 3
days a week only.
Aaanyway so far that’s a brief update on the news.. I hope everyone is well

Hi, Mishka and Ariz!!! How's everything? Hey, Mishka! I'm Raisa, 16 (It's my birthday today!!! March 4). Alam mo, nakabasa ako ng short interview mo last year and I instantly bought your album God Bless The Child (July 16, 2005)(After hearing that Joni Mitchell is one of your influences). After hearing the whole CD, I completely 'fell in love' with Marrakech. Then nagrelease naman ang Repackaged God Bless The Child. Bumili uli ako. =). Then nabalitaan ko na aalis ka na raw ng 'pinas para mag-aral! Nag panic ako! But I was consoled when I heard na magcoconcert ka muna bago umalis. Guess what?…Right! Nanuod ako (Nasalubong ko pa nga si Sir Ariz sa stairs ng Music Museum)!!! …
Now, wala ka na talaga dito (sigh), wala akong magagawa (sob). Kayo po kasi ang pinakafavorite ko na Musician. Still, I'm very happy for you. Ang galing niyo po talaga! Kahit yung 7-year-old sister ko gusto yung music niyo (Siya po yung kasama ko sa concert niyo, along with my father). <Pinapakinggan ko po ngayon yung Love Came On Stealthy Fingers para kunwari nandito lang kayo, albeit I know you're not…=)>
…I just wish you the best in all your endeavors. Pinagdadasal ko nga po kayo palagi…=). Thank you for sharing your beautiful music. Always take care po! Sana you can come back here from time to time…'Christmas' show again, perhaps?…Sige po…
